Face Halo

6/21/2020

You may have heard about Face Halo and like me, wondered if their claims are true... Can the Face Halo really take off all of your makeup with just water?

Yes. Yes it can.

However, I do recommend cleansing your face afterwards, as there is usually always a small amount of residue product (that you can't see) lingering around after your first cleanse/ wash your face.

All you need to do is simply wet your Face Halo, squeeze out the access and gently wipe away your makeup and watch it disappear. I love how quick and easy it is, as well as being travel friendly.
It's small and compact and it reduces the amount of products you need to take with you.
As I said before, I do recommend using a cleanser afterwards, but using the Face Halo means you don't need wipes, micellar water & pads or make-up removers-  saving you money whilst also being better for the environment!

Brand favourites - MAC lipsticks

9/23/2018
For a long time now MAC Cosmetics has been my favourite brand for lipsticks. I love the quality, the different finishes and even the smell! So I thought I'd write a quick blog post about my favourite MAC lipsticks.

Below are a couple of pictures showing swatches of my 8 favourites. As you can probably tell I really love my nudes- Kinda Sexy being my all time fave! It's such a gorgeous pinky/peachy nude and really suits my skin tone.

*If you want to read my review of the Jamie Genevieve lipstick , check out my blog post all about it!*

I don't wear reds all that often, usually because I end up getting it everywhere (lol) so when I do I either wear a liquid lipstick or Ruby Woo from MAC. Ruby Woo is the most beautiful red, it really compliments my skin tone. It's also matte which reduces the chances of me smearing it everywhere and makes it last longer on my lips.

Hang up is quite a dark berry shade- not something I wear very often, but if I do fancy a deep colour in the autumn and winter, this is definitely one I reach for the most. (I also have Dark Side which is very very similar!)

You can shop MAC lipsticks here:
Or on the MAC Cosmetics website.

Thank you for reading,

Jojo
